Shipping & Orders

  • When will my order ship? 

Orders are typically delivered in 2-3 days.

  • Where do you ship? 

At the moment, only the UK, but we're working on the EU.

  • What is your return policy?

We will gladly refund all items up to 30 days from when the items have been delivered. Please note, all items must be in their original packaging and in a re-sellable condition to qualify for a refund.

  • My candle arrived damaged. Now what?

Please email jason@filthycandles.shop with a photo of the dented tin or damaged package so we can resolve the issue quickly.

Product & Materials

  • What kind of wax do you use?

Paraffin and coconut mix - formulated for intense scent profiles.

  • Why do your candles smell like this?

Short answer: Because we actually give a damn about what goes in our candles.

Long answer: We don't do off-the-shelf. The scents you are smelling are custom-blended fragrance oils tailored entirely for our brand—you won't find them hiding under a different label in a department store. We had a long development process to find the distinct profiles. No generic private-label shortcuts, just engineered, high-fidelity scent.

  • Are the metal tins recyclable?

Make sure the tin is clean and free of labels, then place them in your recycling bin. Most metal packaging, including steel and aluminium tins, is widely accepted for recycling.

Safety & Compliance

  • Are these safe to burn in my house?

Absolutely—assuming you understand the basic laws of thermodynamics. Chemically, we are completely above board: all our custom blends are fully CLP compliant and backed by official Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Physically, you need to pay attention. We use industrial metal tins, and metal conducts heat like a radiator once that wax starts melting. Always place the tin on a heat-resistant surface, keep it away from things that catch fire, and do not try to pick it up while it's lit.

  • Do you use allergens in your fragrances?

Please check the CLP warning labels on the bottom of the tins or the product pages for specific allergen information.

The Future

  • Do you make anything besides candles?

We are working on filthy car odorisers.

  • Do you sell wholesale?
